Texas Mutual Insurance Company is the state’s leading provider of workers’ compensation insurance, with approximately 43 percent of the market. We work closely with Texas Mutual leadership on a broad range of services provided across the state, including full-service event planning, media relations and video production.

Texas Mutual is on a mission to make Texas a safer, more productive place to work. ECPR works with the company to promote a message of workplace safety using several communication tools, including video.
Although Texas Mutual works closely with policyholders to create accident-free workplaces, sometimes the unthinkable happens. When someone is injured on the job, Texas Mutual supports employees every step of the way during their recovery.
The story of an injured worker who has returned to a productive life and meaningful work can be a powerful tool to motivate employees to take safety more seriously.
Over the years, Texas Mutual has hired ECPR to shoot and edit a series of videos that share the stories of catastrophically injured workers and explain how Texas Mutual positively supported their recoveries.
In order to properly tell these poignant stories, ECPR’s video team has traveled across the state to El Paso, Galveston, Garland, Hemphill, San Antonio and Waxahachie, as well as to Grand Rapids, Michigan, to facilitate on-camera interviews with recovered workers and capture B-roll of these inspiring workers in their home environments. We also conducted interviews with those who made these recoveries possible, from Texas Mutual claims adjusters to employers and family members. Finally, we developed storylines, edited footage and incorporated graphics and music.
The finished products were compelling videos that have been viewed thousands of times, won numerous awards and have contributed to an increase in Texas Mutual’s digital reach. Most importantly, the client tells us these videos are making a difference in creating safer Texas workplaces.
