The Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Foundation have, for many years, been a passion for ECPR. In 2014, the Library hosted a celebration of the 50-year anniversary of the signing of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. With appearances by four of the five living U.S. presidents and a vast array of speakers ranging from Jesse Jackson to Ambassador  Andrew Young, the Civil Rights Summit drew international media attention. ECPR structured, planned and handled all aspects of media relations throughout the event, including running a press room that housed 200 reporters. We staged twice-daily news conferences, managed countless television and print stories and, ultimately, were responsible for millions of dollars worth of publicity for the LBJ Library and Foundation.
