During the holiday season, ECPR focuses our giving efforts on one nonprofit organization serving residents of Central Texas. This year we were proud to collect in-kind donations for Meals on Wheels Central Texas.
Meals on Wheels Central Texas distributes more than 3,000 meals to homebound older adults and people with disabilities in the Austin area. Services are provided free of charge and are designed to nourish and enrich people’s lives, allowing them to live at home with dignity and independence. Additionally, the organization’s PALS program (Pets Assisting the Lives of Seniors) provides residents with assistance in caring for their four-legged friends.
This year, ECPR collected donations to benefit both the humans and animals served by Meals on Wheels Central Texas. We were happy to deliver the items just before the Christmas holiday.
